Hi Lois, hope you are well! Have been following you blog since we started. Don't really know where to start. Had a look at TUX the other day and I think that I'll be able to use some of the 3 programs. But what really impressed me was SCRATCH. It's great. Have down loaded multiple copies of the coloured cards, laminated them and as soon as I can go with it, I will. Has to be the best free program I have seen in a couple of years. Am slowly reading through your blog and can't believe the amount of information you have on it.

ReplyDeleteScatch is amazing and students love it. I find that boys in particular are very engaged when they work with it. Last year they were designing little games about healthy choices in food. They continued to use Scratch throughout the year in their own time- a real indication of its success.
Thanks for your complimentary description of my blog. I have written it partly as a resource for teachers in my school but am more than happy that others find it useful too.
